BACHELORS OF COMPUTER APPLICATIONS

In the present era of Information Technology The Bachelor of Computer Application course trains the students with the fundamental basics of computing to make a strong base in the Competitive field. On the completion of this course students are well versed with the various latest technologies and use of online resources to launch their prospective career as an Entrepreneur to meet the needs of various sectors. Students interested in Higher Study can pursue for Master and Doctoral Degrees in the Field.

Eligibility Conditions for Bachelor of Computer Applications
A person who has passed one of the following examinations shall be eligible to join the first year class of three year B.C.A Course.

• A candidate who has passed 10+2 examination from a recognized Board/University with at least 50% marks in any discipline and passed Mathematic as one of subject at Matriculation Examination level shall be eligible to join the first year classes of B.C.A Course.
• Any other examination with 50% marks, recognized by syndicate as equivalent to (i).

Note: That 5% weightage be given to each of the subjects of mathematics and Computer Science/Information Technology to the candidate who studied at 10+2 level at the time of Admission to B.C.A 1st year class (vide item no 34 of meeting of Faculty of Science held on 19.01.2010)
